Since 1984, IGCC has provided dissertation fellowships to more than 450 UC graduate students pursuing degrees across 35 disciplines and inter-disciplinary programs. Typically about 10 percent of applicants are funded. A substantial proportion of these awardees have become faculty, including within the UC system, or have entered public service.
